Major League Baseball released new designs Wednesday for the 2016 season’s special holiday jerseys and caps, including those for your hometown Miami Marlins.
And unlike previous seasons — where slick, updated looks were created for Memorial Day, the Fourth of July and the All-Star Game — there are Mother’s and Father’s Day designs, as well.
MLB, Majestic and New Era worked together to create the new designs, according to a press release from MLB, and the league will donate licensed uniform royalties to Susan G. Komen (Mother’s Day), Prostate Cancer Foundation (Father’s Day), Stand Up to Cancer (Mother’s Day and Father’s Day), Welcome Back Veterans (Memorial Day and Independence Day) and the Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services’ “Support Our Troops Fund” (Blue Jays’ Memorial Day uniforms).
But what do they look like?
Below are the Marlins’ versions of the holiday jerseys and caps along with links to full galleries of the special designs for each Major League team (all courtesy of MLB.com).
Enjoy, and let us know what you think of the Marlins looks.
