Spring Training 2017: Directions on how to get to Roger Dean Stadium

Roger Dean Stadium is located in the Town of Jupiter in northern Palm Beach County. The stadium is approximately 19 miles south of Stuart and 14 miles north of West Palm Beach.

From Interstate 95

Exit at Donald Ross Road (Exit 83) and travel east. From Donald Ross Road there are the following five options:

  1. Travel east 1 mile to Central Boulevard. At the light make a left and follow Central Boulevard north to Frederick Small Road. Follow circle and travel west ½ mile on Frederick Small Road to Stadium Drive. Take Stadium Drive to second parking lot entrance (south side of parking lot).
  2. Travel east 1 ½ miles to Military Trail. At the light make a left and follow Military Trail north ½ mile to University Drive. Turn left onto University Drive and follow to Central Boulevard. Turn right and travel north on Central Boulevard to Frederick Small Road. Follow circle and travel west ½ mile on Frederick Small Road to Stadium Drive. Take Stadium Drive to second parking lot entrance (south side of parking lot).
  3. Travel east 1 ½ miles to Military Trail. At the light make a left and follow Military Trail north 1 mile to Frederick Small Road. At the light turn left onto Frederick Small Road and travel west 1 mile to Stadium Drive. Take Stadium Drive to second parking lot entrance (south side of parking lot).
  4. Travel east on Donald Ross Road to Heights Boulevard (first light). At the light make a left and continue north 1 mile to Frederick Small Road. Make a right on Frederick Small road traveling east to either Parkside Drive or Stadium Drive. Follow either road north to second parking lot entrance (south side of parking lot).
  5. Travel east ½ mile to Parkside Drive. Turn left onto Parkside Drive and travel north to first parking lot entrance (south side of parking lot). This is the easiest route to follow but the most heavily trafficked.

From Florida’s Turnpike

Exit at Jupiter-Indiantown Road (Exit 116) and enter Interstate 95 south. Follow directions “From Interstate 95”.

Spring Training Parking Information

Season Parking Passes

Season parking passes are available for both the Miami Marlins and the St. Louis Cardinals Spring Training seasons.  These passes are $120 and include 15 Marlins games or 15 Cardinals games.  The Spring Training Parking Pass grants you access to the Abacoa parking garage (Season Pass Garage) located immediately to the West of Roger Dean Stadium (see map above).  Please contact the Roger Dean Stadium Ticket Office at 561-630-1828 to purchase your pass today.

Individual Game Parking

Preferred Parking:  Single-game parking passes are available in the Abacoa parking garage (Season Pass Garage), and in three grass lots to the West and North of the stadium (Lots C, D & E).  Parking in these areas is $10 per game (CASH only).  Individual parking passes may be purchased at the Roger Dean Stadium ticket office, online at Tickets.com (Keyword: Roger Dean Stadium Parking) or by phone at (561)775-1818.

Overflow Parking: Additional parking lots will be utilized as needed. These lots include the Florida Atlantic University parking lot (Lot A on Map), two Abacoa Parking Garages (Lots F & G on Map), and three surface lots (Lots H, I & J on Map). Signage and personnel will be utilized to direct guests to these facilities as needed based on attendance levels. 

Guests with Disabilities Parking: Parking is available on a first come, first served basis, on Main Street, located along the West side of the Stadium, and on Avenue A located along the North side of the stadium. There is also disabled parking available in the Abacoa Parking Garage (Season Pass Garage) to the West of the Stadium and in the front row of the two grass parking areas (Lots D & E).

Guest Drop Off / Pick-Up Area:  A drop-off area is located directly in front of the Stadium outside of Gate B. This drop-off area is ADA accessible.

Bus / RV Parking:  Buses may drop off their guests at Gate B, then park in the Florida Atlantic University overflow lot (Lot A) for $25.  RV’s and other oversized vehicles may park in the grass lots (Lots D & E) for $25.  Parking passes for all oversized vehicles are available for sale by calling the Roger Dean Stadium Ticket office at 561-630-1828.

Parking Policies and Procedures

  • Tailgating
    • Tailgating is permitted in the grass parking lots only (Lots C, D & E).
    • No open-flame cooking is permitted.
    • Pop up tents are permitted as long as they are not staked into the ground and do not take up additional parking spaces (Additional spaces will be charged at owner’s expense)
    • No overnight parking is permitted in any of the parking lots.
    • All vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk.
    • Any articles left in vehicles are at owner’s risk.
    • Roger Dean Stadium reserves the right to have any vehicles moved to another section of the parking lot.
    • No attendants will be present after regular event hours.
    • No re-entry allowed.

The Marlins 2017 spring schedule includes visits to Jupiter by the New York Mets (Feb. 28, March 6, 15, 27), Washington Nationals (March 3, 17, 19, 24) and Detroit Tigers (March 14, 31, April 1). The Mets also come to Roger Dean Stadium to face the St. Louis Cardinals (March 1, 18).

The two teams begin their spring schedules with an exhibition against each other at Roger Dean Stadium on Feb. 25.

The first workout for Marlins pitchers and catchers is Feb. 14, with position players reporting and holding their first full-squad workout on Feb. 17. The Cardinals’ pitchers and catchers also will report to Jupiter on Feb. 14, and their first workout will be the following day. The rest of the Cardinals will arrive by Feb. 17.
